Materials

These are the materials I use most frequently... generally, if use different things, I write it in the picture's comment.

Pencils: Staedtler 3b

Mechanical pencil leads: Niji 2b; Faber-Castell HB

Brushes: Da Vinci synthetic; Apa Goya synthetic; Apa ox hair

China ink: Pelikan

Stylographic ink: Pelikan

Watercolours: Winsor & Newton (the cheaper onesi), Talens

Acrylic: Apa Ferrario

Tempera/ Gouache: Giotto, Talens, Pebeo...actually I don't use gouaches very often, and usually I mix them with acrylics, then I don't have a real preference.

Coloured pencils: Staedtler water soluble

Ecoline: Talens

Paper: The paper I use for my sketches is common copier/printer paper that I buy in reams; it's cheap and in my opinion it's the best choice if you use soft pencils. For inked or painted drawings I use generally rough Fabriano F4. Actually, I tend to recycle every kind of paper within reach, then it's hard for me to express a preference.
